Grassroots in the Garden Growing Community: Tending Established Blueberries Workshop

  • 330 South Oakland Avenue Green Bay, WI, 54303 United States (map)

Grassroots in the Garden is a series of FREE community workshops open to everyone. You’ll get to learn gardening skills from a mentor and get hands on practice with them by caring for the plants of the Seymour Park Food Forest.

In this session, you'll help cleanup and prepare the Seymour Park Food forest for the start of the growing season. We'll also be planting blueberries and learning how to start off their growth strong. This kind of maintenance is important for the plants, but your hard work wont go unrewarded as you'll get some coffee and other treats for your efforts.

This is an outdoor event! Please dress for the whether and bring gardening gloves.
