Local organizations impacted by cuts to AmeriCorps

Some programs under Serve Wisconsin’s portfolio include the Department of Public Instruction’s Farm to School program which encourages healthy eating choices and the Marshfield Clinic Health Systems Community Corps to help address local health needs.

New Leaf Foods incorporated is one of the service sites for that program. According to the AmeriCorps website three people are funded with AmeriCorps dollars. READ MORE

Seed Library offers free seeds to the community to get a jump on spring planting
