Food for Health is a project dedicated to educating the public on nutrition, food, and more. We bring in experts to give free to attend, public presentations where they give their expertise.
Our first foray into Food For health is “The Whole Wheat Story in Four Courses” where you can learn almost everything about wheat including its history, nutrition, and more with more talks planned on the way.
The Whole Wheat Story in Four Courses
The Whole Wheat Story in Four Courses was a series of talks hosted at the Brown County Central Library in June of 2026. They were given by PHD biologist Vicki Medland and registered dietician Michelle Nowak. The talks were open to the public and free so anyone could come in and learn more about food science and history. However even if you missed the live talks you can still learn from these two experts shared in our video recordings of the classes.
