Join us for one last Grassroots in the Garden Session in 2026 where Grassroots mentor Dillon Wiest will teach us about an age old permaculture technique known as hügelkulturr. The term is means “mound culture” and involves creating a compost mound that eventually turns into a garden bed. If you want to learn how to start composting in your own yard, or how you can start a raised garden bed without any carpentry needed, then join us on November 7th from 11:00am-1pm. If you have any cardboard you’d like to get rid of, bring to this event and we can use to make some garden beds.
