Grassroots in the Garden: Weed Identification

Grassroots in the Garden is a series of free community workshops open to the public where you can learn gardening from an experience mentor, learn about how to care for the Seymour Park Food Forest, and get hands on practice.

Weeding is a skill that’s as tough as it is important. Thankfully there’s a great opportunity to learn at the Seymour Park Food Forest. Join us on June 4th where Crystal Brown will be teaching leading a Grassroots in the Garden session on identifying weeds and the best ways to deal with them. She’ll also be presenting tips on mulching and harvesting bee balm.

This session takes place on June 4th from 5:30pm to 7:30pm at Seymour Park (330 S Oakland Ave)
