Grassroots in the Garden Growing Community: Berry & Cherry Workshop

Grassroots in the Garden is a series of free community workshops open to the public where you can learn gardening from an experienced mentor, learn about how to care for the Seymour Park Food Forest, and get hands on practice.

On June 24th at 5:30pm, a garden mentor will be leading a Grassroots in the Garden session on the many different fruits that the Seymour Park Food Forest provides. Learn how to care for the cherry trees, raspberry bushes, and many other plants present. Depending on how the season unfolds, there is a potential to harvest some fruits for yourself. Bring a container, just in case.

  • Wednesday, June 24th

  • 5:30pm to 7:30pm

  • At the Seymour Park (330 S Oakland Ave)
